The board: LuxDMX v6

A compact, open-source Art-Net / sACN → galvanically-isolated DMX512 gateway built around an ESP32-S3 with both WiFi and wired Ethernet (W5500). Two isolated DMX universes, 802.3af PoE or USB-C power + flashing, a 5-LED status panel, and a header for an optional display. The outputs are DMX512-A Protected: a series protector blocks mains or up to ±42 V on the data pins in under a microsecond, then recovers on its own. Designed entirely as code and routed by a fully-scripted pipeline. Palm-sized, fabricable at JLCPCB for a few dollars.

Built and running: the first boards came back from the fab and have been driving the test bench since July 2026.
